What the Student/s Did
Joanna applied for a placement with Ubisoft Reflections, a major games company in the heart of Newcastle. She was employed as a games designer and spent much of her time working on this game. Joanna worked on mission scripting, 3d modelling, textures, game testing, and game design. After a successful placement year she has returned to Northumbria for her final year - bringing with her experience of working for one of the biggest names in the games industry.
Summary of Game
Futuristic driving game for the Wii that lets the players take control of emergency service vehicles to save the city of San Alto. It's a fast-action game that offers cooperative play, a free-roaming environment and its own "Hero Mode". Players can choose from 45 vehicles from police, fire and medical services.
The game contains both single player story mode and several games in two player mode. A lot of work has been put into make the game easy to access and play.
