Antenna Testing
Holographic techniques have proved useful for determination of antenna radiation patterns and imaging antenna fields. Traditionally, this has been achieved mainly by the direct measurement of complex fields of an antenna. This is an expensive process requiring equipment capable of measuring both amplitude and phase of the antenna in the near field. In this research, we are applying an indirect holographic to solve this problem. This allows the antenna fields to be determined from simple intensity measurements, thus significantly reducing the cost.
