Mr Michael J. Fdo

Michael Joyston Fernando received his BEng degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering with distinction at Madurai Kamaraj University, India in 2003. In 2004 he received his M.Sc in Optoelectronic and communication systems from Northumbria University, UK and was awarded the Phil O’Bryne prize for the best research project. He began his PhD in 2005, on the subject of Microwave indirect imaging of Biological tissues in Northumbria Universities Microwave Imaging Research Group. His current research interests include: microwave holography; microwave indirect imaging techniques for medical applications and concealed weapon detection.
