About ME
I am currently employed within the School of CEIS at Northumbria University.
My teaching activities include: Data Communications and Transmission Systems; Mobile Communication Systems; Analog and Digital Electronics.
My research activities are mainly focussed upon a joint project between Newcastle and Northumbria Universities on the use of microwaves for early stage breast cancer detection. In 2005, I was awarded a HEFCE Promising Young Research Fellowship for this research. My other research interests include: microwave antenna design, microwave imaging techniques for medical applications, and antenna measuring techniques. I am the author of over 35 refereed publications and referee for a number of journals.
